#13150, "Trout plant schedule"

All,
My kid bro just bought an older champion bass boat and am just finishing rebuilding the bottom end. Anyone know if there is a plant scheduled for castaic this week. We are gonna take her out Friday and run her thru the paces, thanks for any info.

Tight Lines,
Bank Pounder

According to the DFG website there are no plants scheduled for Castaic this week. Here's the link: http://www.dfg.ca.gov/fishplant/fishplant_r5.html

Good luck with the boat!

As per a previous post: Castaic was planted Mon. 4-5-04 with 900 lbs. of small trout at the west ramp. The lm-bass & stripers have kept the trout corraled near shore at the ramp area. Not much left though. Still worth trying for some stripers near the west ramp. Including the dock near lifeguard bldg.
