All,
Been back east for a few weeks and just got back and am wondering how the duct has been. Any reports would be appreciated, thanks.

Went to munz ranch rd on 4/2 from 10a - 12p. Caught a couple of small stripers on liver. They were releasing water at the gates.

My dad has gone more times than I. He has done good & bad. He was skunked once. The cats are not real aggressive yet. They are just tapping the bait then leaving it alone. Best to be holding your rod & set the hook on the bite (1 sec. after). Dink stripers are being hooked as well. I hooked a 25 inch cat on shrimp at the Munz ranch. The water has been up & down, flowing hard & flowing slow. 1 gate was broken shut. Not sure if it is fixed yet. They have been doing alot of work on the systems there.

I get my cats on plain ole chicken livers in that stretch. The key is to stay mobile no bites in 20 minutes, move on to another section. I have scored good there so far this year on the kittie fish, only a couple of decent linesides so far. If you see a gray toyota van there give me a holler.
Try bucktails for the stripers in the shady side side of the bridges, and always keep a few topwater baits with you, never know when they will decide to go off.
