Fished the boat dock area for easy trout limit with power worms. Saw the DFG truck pull up around 9:30am for another stocking

What color/size power worms were you using? Straight Carolina/Texas rig? Did you catch them near the surface?

Thanks!

If you could remember how to get to the Main launch ramp (not West ramp), then you will do fine. Before you start up the hill going to the main ramp, the lagoon is right there to your left. It looks like there is a park, which is the picnic area. Don't fish the west side cause it is prohibited. You have 2 options for parking: above for fishing the dock & above that OR below for fishing near the launch ramp & rocky areas (more people here BUT FOR GOOD REASON). The 1st option is right before the curve uphill (look out for it, not hard to find). The 2nd option above is a little tricky for 1st-timers: as you start uphill look to your left real soon. You will see a road that curves downhill. Hope I was helpful? >>> P.S. - Don't go all the way uphill to the main ramp. There is no other way fish the lower lake from up there.

It seems any time before 11am & any time after 3pm are the best times. Although some may disagree. Good times to you Kahn!

Hey Kahn, another suggestion is use 2 lb. test w/ultra light gear. It is all mostly small trout there. Have not seen anything bigger than a 2 lb.er

Fisheez.
Thanks so much for the details directions . I may go there early tommorow morning or Sunday . If I go tommorow I'll hit the Upper Lake first to try for Stripers & then go for Trout later :-) .
I do have some ultra light gear too . Thanks .
Khanh.

the entrance to where you want to go is on the left immediately as you cross the bridge. its real easy. if you start going uphill, you went too far.

ps: don't even think "west ramp"
