Me and my buddy adam woke up early and went to the lake. We fished from 7 til about 1 for no bites at all. We threw jigs, super dupers, power bait, crave, salmon eggs and worms. By about noon there was only 10 fish caught on the whole lake. It got really cold the nite before and it might of turned off the bite. I also heard a bunch of commorants came when they were stocking.oh well next time

Yeah they have a sign saying they are planting on tuesdays now. It was so cold in the morning my rod guides were icing up but it warms up around 9 or 10.

Was at Hesperia Lake on Thursday, 1/18/07. Lake is very green, no one seems to mention this in posts or in the Western Outdoor News. Has been this way for months. Got lots of bites, caught no fish. Buddy caught a five-pounder. Fish looked sick, extremely slimey. Met up with a clipboard guy who takes the tally of the fish caught, said the fishing is not like it was last year, limits every time I went last year, he said they have a problem with the lake and can't figure it out. I won't be going back until they fix the problem. :-(
