I have a friend who swears that he caught a 5 lb catfish from the Balboa Lake outflow near Burbank Blvd... Is this for real or just a dream?.... Has anyone fished that spot.. I took a look at it and it looks possible .. It looks like a small river... Looks like maybe even some small mouth could hold.. Is that crazy or what? I like to try new and different spots..THANKS...Jeff

I have seen that small river too but I have never fished it.Though I have seen tiny frye in it,so there has to be some real fish in it.I'll probably fish it today.I'll post the results

Hey Charmin, did you catch and release those mud musky? I think there are laws against taking them from their homes.

Its required by law that you release the ones with peanuts in them. All other ones you can keep. There a pain to filet though!!

Be careful while walking the bank. I stepped on one somebody left on the bank, they can be quite dangerous. Fear the Mud Musky.

Can you describe this giant mud musky? It might be the same one that has been doing all kinds of damage to the plumbing here at my work. The one here is definetly a record.
