Anyone been to the sea lately? I primarily fish the north shore, state park and salt creek areas. I'm planning a trip within the next two weeks.

I talked to alot of people at the Fred hall show that fish the Salton Sea alot and they told me it was pretty dead still. But that they were expecting it to pick up within three or four weeks.

Anyone been to the sea lately? The corvina should be biting now....

I went to the Sea yesterday. We fished of the jetty at freebie point. There were 6 boats about 200 yards off shore who caught a few, but none for us off shore. I think its just a matter of days though.

If you are the refering to the jetty at state park that's where i fish also. I'm just checking out reports from people who actually fish there and gathering info from the ranger station and poor richards. I have a three hour drive to get there, but it's worth it when the fishing is hot..Did you see any tilapia? (should be spawning soon)
