I was fishing yesterday and noticed many baby bass about 2-3 inches. Are these new hatchlings from this year? I thought they hatched a little later in the year. I have never seen baby bass this early in the year in these areas where I fish before.

Its a farming canal that has bass in it, and the water temp is about 56-58. I thought they didn't start hatching till water temp was about 63-65.

Im thinking the 3in are late hatch from last year it takes the bass a while to grow 3" and if they were late last year they would have missed out on some of the warmer moths and had to grow throughout the colder months mabey that why there only 3" my .02

Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day
