I went out on 10/31 and got one dink and one about 14-15", both on dropshot.
I went out again today with a buddy and we were catching dinks (6-8") all day long with the dropshot. We got about 3 that I would call keepers, but 2 of those were on the small side of things, too. One was caught on a crank while the dropshot was definately the rig that got the most results. It was good today and not as windy as I thought it would be. It was warmer and windier in Santa Maria than it was over the hill.

The guys in TW said the bite at Margi has died off of late, but who knows you might go out there and catch a toad! The Ambushers tournament was moved to this weekend, its a two day tournament with day 1 (Sat)at San Antonio and Day 2 (Sun)at Naci. For more info I would call Jim's Pro Bass in Paso Robles (805)237-0549.

To fish is to live!
