I float tube pudd again this mourning from five thirty till ten, tried a little top water with no success. When the sun started to come through I hit the submerged trees in sailboat like I usually do. pulled out a three pounder on the senko, took a picture, released him. Once I saw him thrash away I noticed I had also released my rod and reel into the water! Now what to do, water can't be that deep so I think I'll just dive down and get it. I went to a little cove and took off my fins and tube. I swam out and the water looked pretty clear. Went down and down and the water was green as grass, couldn't see anything. I finally went all the way back to my car and got another pole to "fish" it out. Just another little adventure, got to get some floaties for my rod though because he doesn't know how to swim. keep fishin':-)

They open at sunrise now which is about 5:20. I'd like to catch some crappie, which pier were you fishing from? The one closest to the swim beach or the one closest to the north shore? keep fishin'

I was fishing from the one closest to the north shore. About 4 feet down with a small bobber above a chunk of nightcrawler. Other people were throwing jigs but no action. All the fish came in about a 20 min span.Went back at night for nothing. Tight lines, Mike
