Fishing has been so slow for two weeks now. This morning they planted 1500 lb. in the upper lake on the east side, the stripers should be biting there tomorrow. 900 lbs. were planted in the lower lake. This planting were little smaller fish about 3/4-1 lb. and they have been hiting the super duper. Lets hope the weather holds up for a while so we can get some fishing time in.

Anyone fished from the East (Upper) Ramp on the shore?
There's tons of boats and water skiers in that area, how the heck do you do it? Or do you you walk to the right of the ramp and fish on the beach are?

Any information is appreciated, I'm planning on hitting Castaic on Sat.

You have to fish the shore, ramp fishing there is not allowed. They only allow it on the west ramp because it is closed to boat traffic.

It was a no show on the stripers yesterday and today. My buddy saw
only one chaser yesterday. Don't expect much to happen at Castaic
as far as the Stripers go untill the end of March. Atleast thats my thought. I'm putting my effort into some of those toad largies. If I can ever get away from work.
