Well after working 25+ hours in the last two days at fred hall, I was not feeling up to charging at 5am this morning, so I got up there at 9:30. I won't give the play by play, but I rented a boat and caught three small bed fish, biggest 3.8lbs all on the white king kobra jig. I didn't see any big females on beds that were catchable until the very end of the day when it flattened out and I found a 9lber totally locked sitting with a 3-4lb male. She nosed up on my jig two casts in a row and then the ranger came and told me it was closing time. Quite frustrating to say the least. I have no doubt I would've caught that fish in less than an hour. Oh well, there's always wednesday.

Right on Brian..... after that long 80 "+" hours at the show, I was dying to get out there too, only to find that this whole week is parent / teacher conference time.......so no go for me....next week. At least you got to get out on the water....way to go!

No one got paid as much as they were worth. Brian and Gerry kicked a@# for us and I hope they know how valuable they were. We had a great show, but I don't think it was a great show. Bart Hall and the guys were happy with what we did, so expect our Bass Zone deal to get even better next year.

Don't worry Phil, there is a nice credit waiting for you next time you come in. And that 13 pounder you caught at Casitas has to have something to do with good charma for being such a great friend. I could only have been happier for you if that was a 80 boat tournament.....and if you had caught it on a swimbait! Imagine Jim and Don S reaction if you had. Classic.

Yeah that was the one. Hopefully someone with NBA will kick us out some photos of that hog. Hey Phil, you know that could end up being one of the biggest bass caught during any tournament this year. I'm sure Casitas is due to give up a 15+ sometime soon, but until then you are MAN!!!
