I am trying to find out when the trout plants start around Los Angeles area and Puddingstone. anyone have a idea? Thanks

I went to Castaic on Thursday, there was a trout plant the day prior at the main ramp

I was there Thursday also, they were wide open. Didn't keep any but caught 12 in 15 casts using a mini jig. They ate the live shad too. Get there quick before the Stripers key in on em........

i was there on friday and those trout are BIG. there wasn't any striper action that i saw for the 2 guys who were throwing the big baits around teh marina area.
I was up there for the LMB (did pretty good) but will return on tuesday with a buddy and see if the stripers want to tussle

I saw a guy get one on a Charlie Mega swimbait..fair at the bouy line.

any good spots you know??
last time i went was 1 week after the trout plant and i caught 10 in about 15 minutes 5 feet off shore with yellow powerbait. that was right by the launch ramp... any good baits for the LMB and smallies? any help would be great...

Pyramid was also on the trout plant list for Los Angeles. I don't know if they followed through with a plant.
