Get a flat piece of something, like a piece of tile. Build 4 walls using pieces of wood or pieces of tile or whatever, and some type of epoxy. Glue the worm down to the bottom, flat side down, and cover with plaster of paris. When it dries, pull the worm out.

good info, Brian, I was wondering the same myself! I have bought some molds from Barlow's, but they are all old school. Their's are rubber, they work pretty well. I'll try the plaster of Lake Perris route- thanks a lot!

Plaster of Paris is also old school. The best tstuff to use is a liqued fiberglass product found at hardware stores.Plaster tend to get brittle and flakey after time.

Good advice John. I didn't think of that. It probably makes a smoother mold too.

what is the liquid fiberglass stuff? I'm guessing marine resin would work well also, if it didn't melt the plastic bait, though it probably would.
