you have been puting up alot of new products. you need to find some time to get out there and review them, huh?

also, on some of the reviews its stated that some baits have, well no so good of quality hooks and other things. but the reviews look to be a few years old. what im trying to say is maybe those baits have been upgraded with higher quality components, maybe, i dont know, this is all new to me, remember im the new guy...hehe

Regarding updates to products - that's why we have the feature where users can add their own reviews - so that updates can be made and other opinions can be voiced. I do occasionally update reviews if there are major changes with the baits as well. Most lures do not change hook brands or sizes over time.

calfishing.com is not my day job. In fact, it's not a job at all - it's a hobby. Hobbies are for fun and doing this site is fun for me.

I put hundreds of hours per year in to this site and it is every bit as good as it can be given the time I have to put in it.

I would love nothing more than to kick back and write product reviews all day, but I have other things to do in life, like my job for the past 7 years, or being in school full time like I am now (which takes even more time than my old job did).

You might notice that last night some time after 11pm I was online posting picture of the new Castaic Rock Hard Platinum. If you follow tournament results you might also notice that I fished the WON Lopez tournament today which means I was up at 3:45am. As you read this now, it's 8:45pm and I am replying to your post. Can you get the sense of where I'm at with time in my life?

Life is about what you put in to it, not what you get out of it. If you want better reviews, the best thing you can do is start writing a few yourself. Give us the newbie point of view. It can be an interesting one to read. New guys always say they don't want to write review comments because they don't feel qualified. So what? Give your impression, it will be worth something to someone.

not to jump subject but there was a won tourney @ Lopez lake here in A.G?is there anywere i can see the schedule ...I live like 20minutes from that lake.if you ever need a backseat filled ot atubing buddy for the day let me know.
