#4545, "Good fishing"

Hi all, I'm new to California and I'm not quite sure where a good place is to fish with out having to drive over thirty minutes. I live extremely close to Kumeyaay lake and from what I have seen, it does not look good to catch some decent eatin size fish. So I'm hoping that someone might know a better place to fish I've only been here for a week.

Thank you, I'm really looking at fishing for Large mouth bass, and small mouth, also trout and catfish. I have never salt water fished before so any tips on that would help. I just know that Kumeyaay lake does not seem like a popular place to catch fish.
