MAN! I can't believe that guy had the nerve to copyright that article!! In some spots, he must've just cut and pasted Rob's article..they were Rob's exact words! I also saw some paragraphs/phrases that were direct copies from Seimental's book "Big Bass Zone". I guess its to be expected. Some folks are just "me too dogs" and glory hounds.

wow, I knew I had read that before. He mentioned replacing the hook on the 9 inch Stocker, is that even possible? If so I'd be interested in how one would do that without destroying the bait.

Dan,

Yeah I'm familiar with this.. unfortunately. Steve Von Brandt and/or his associates have taken that article, which was plagarized from my article, and spread it all over the net by submitting it to sites that publish articles. I've talked with the webmasters on at least 6-8 different sites to get it removed in the last year. I'll talk to these guys too. It's shameless plagarism and a copyright violation of the images on my site.

Sorry you have to be bothered with someone's theft of your ideas and thoughts Rob. 'Stevie' has been thrown off a BB or two that I frequent.

Yeah Steve does seem to have quite a reputation around the net, and it's not a positive one.

My favorite part was that part massbassguy mentioned where he talks about removing the hook from a Stocker Trout. What a laugh... I've cut a Stocker in half to check out the internals and it would be virtually impossible to do it cleanly and put the bait back together again afterwards. The hook and weight system in there has wire wrapped around it and you wind up tearing the plastic in those areas no matter what you do. I can't see the point in trying to replace any of the internals of that bait and if I had to guess, the comment in the article is just a complete BS comment.
