Corona lake off the I-15 around lake elsinore area. Mostly trout though. They do a lot of tournaments so they stock it with some brutes. I think it costs about $17 though.

Here's some linkage...

http://fishinglakes.com/

Closer to Bakersfield is Tait Ranch Trout ponds (Frazier Park) if you like fly fishing - (661) 245-6315

Then there is Tejon Ranch Lake for bass fishing which I believe is $100 for the day and I believe includes boat rental - (661) 663-4210

man, it may seem like a long way but try the Fin 'n feather in Palmdale(you pass by it on the 14 to valencia) i think it's like $400 your first year, if you get in. i don't think it should be a probelm on where you live; there's guys down in the valley who have memberships & their probably hour& a half away. there's a bit of a waiting list but if your one of the first guys to register next year, you may get in. If oyu're interested, reply back. if you do, I'll give you some more info on this little club.

Bass + Fisherman= BAASS ADDICTT!!!
