#27, "What is a Ronki?"

I saw this fish mentioned on the saltwater reports board. What is a Ronki? Is that a nickname? What does the fish look like (size, shape, color, etc.)? Where/how do you normally catch it? Does it pull hard like a mackerel, or is it weak like a Tom Cod? Is it good to eat? I've been fishing all my life and have never heard of this fish!
Thanks in advance,
Kev
