Try fixing it yourself. You can buy the tip glue and tips
from Turners or a local tackle shop. Keep the glue and a
spare tip in your tackle bag or backpack.

That repair should be really easy. You could go to either of the tackle shops in town and they will tell you how or even fix it for you on the spot. You might not even need a new tip, just get a lighter and slowly warm the tip section and try to slide the tip off. If it comes off see if it fits on you broken section if it does your in luck.

Let me know if you have any more questions or need help, i could take a look at it for you. Do you go to ucsb?

Let me save you some time brotha!! Head down to Harbor Tackle and have Paul or Paco fix it for 4 dollars. Happens all the time and is a pretty easy fix. If you want, you can just purchase the tip there for a couple bucks and take it home and do it yourself or just spend the extra 2 bucks and havem put it on for you. I recommend having them fix it in front of you then you can take care of it yourself in the future. Goodluck.

Hey, I agree I'd pay the extra two dollars to have someone do it, it's only two bucks, but doing it yourself is VEEEERRRRYYY easy. If you can see and have hands, you can replace your rod tip. And a little tip for everyone I came up with one day in a pinch while I was fishing, it's not permanent but it works. IF you have a safety pin and some type of glue, you can make a rod tip.take your pliars, cut off the straight part of the safety pin that has the latch and leave the needle side, then bend the circular part down 90 degrees, put the needle dow the hollow tip of your pole and glue in place. Sometimes you may need to wrap something around the needle to make it large enough to fill up the gap in the hollow pole.

Fishing is always better than yarting, i don't know what yarting is...
BUT IT CAN'T BE BETTER THAN FISHING! lol.
