:D :D :D yes sir you are correct. i finally had got mine from mickey and was able to fish it on saturday and sunday. the life like action and the quality paint and consruction of the bait is by far the best i have seen on the market today. i have been throwing swim baits for a long time and have pretty much every one ever made. after all of that i finally was able to get bit not just followed. saturday i had two big bass come up . one of them slurped at that bait and the other one hit it so hard it scared me. the bad thing is i was unable to hook either fish. my bad the first i watched bit and did nothing and the second hit so hard i could not set fast enough. anways my 2 cents THE ARMAGEDDON IS BY FAR THE BEST HARD SWIM BAIT AROUND TODAY. thanks mickey for your hard work and artistic paint scemes you truely are the man.

Don't be afraid. If it's such a great bait, why didn't the fish inhale it? If it really "hit the bait so hard" should have been no problem getting the hook set. Sounds like the fish was just annoyed, like I'm getting, reading about you guys pimping for Mickey! Sounsd like you need to hammer you drag and swing.

Good Day More Fishing, Less Tackle, Are you kidding me??...Dude, how old are you anyway? Sounds like you are jealous of something....I'd suggest not reading the message board containing certain "touchy" subjets such as the Armageddon. I am sure there are other subjects, probably many more, where your expertise is better appreciated. You should sign-off your letter "More Fishing, Less TALK"

Ooops, sorry, did not mean to ruffle your feathers. I was busy getting ready for trout opener. I fished Bridgeport Reservoir. They took a couple of pics of two of my four browns, 4.4, 4.25, 5.5, and 5.0. They said there's a website, but I can't remember what the address is. I'm going to give them a call, and when I get it, I'll post a link. Perry and Dave said it would be a few days before the pics were posted. Fishing was great! Oh, and I'll be 55 next month.

More Fishing, Less Tackle
hey steve first off man do not try and start to qeustion me. second if you are tring to say that you have never missed a fish or have never watch your lure get hit and could not hook the fish you must be kidding yourself. (but then again you are a trout fishermen). i am very pleased with mickey and all his baits they are all great baits and work very well for different times of year and conditions. if you have some kind of problem with mickey or his baits. simply do not read the post's and do not buy his lures. as for myself i think mickey is a great guy with some killer baits. so of course i will talk him up and give him props. you on the other have a few things to learn about being a gentlemen and respecting others for the things they have been able to acomplise. rob sorry man i had too

Let's take a look at these one at a time:

"hey steve first off man do not try and start to question me"

Are you some kind of supreme being that you can't be questioned? Pulleeeze!

"second if you are tring to say that you have never missed a fish or have never watch your lure get hit and could not hook the fish you must be kidding yourself."

Yes, I have missed fish, usually while not paying attention. However, if you're fishing with " THE BEST HARD SWIM BAIT AROUND TODAY" you should be expecting to get bit by something huge.

You say "(but then again you are a trout fishermen)." The inference here is that it's harder to catch a big bass than it is to catch a big trout? I'm not talking about planted overweight Triploids like those Thunder and Lightning fish, or a fat Rainbow. I'm talking about Browns, not easy to come by. By the way, I also fish one or two multi day trips out of San Diego each year and enjoy Mexico destinations like Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, East Cape, and Cabo San Lucas.

Finally, do you guys ever get tired of being part of a mutual admiration society? Don't you enjoy posting and reading about "the things they have been able to acomplise" more than talking about what somebody else has done?

No apologies necessary, I'm sure that Rob is used to an occasional debate being aired here. After all, freedom of the press and all.

Good fishing to you all. Hope ya get a bigun.

I'm with you. Let's give this thing a rest. I too am guilty of reading these threads. But please let it go. Let's talk about techniques and fishing stories.

I have seen the armageddon in it's stages of development, I must say Mickey has definately done his research and finally got it right.I have had the pleasure of fishing with several prototype baits that he has created and I have never been disappointed with any of them.Fish On and I saw what the bait is capable of doing and if anyone has doubts come to LMV and see it in action I will be fishing mine as soon as I get it.Henry Shore has been fishing with it for a while and he is a great stick so I beleive when he tells me that he found a great thing. So to all of you that like to talk crap on everybody else out there why don't you get out and try to make them yourself, then try to make money doing it then we'll see who's the last one standing. Tight lines!

Hey Mick, what's your number? I have a few questions for you. By the way, your baits are sick. I gave one of your Bluegill's to a friend and he caught a 13 at Casitas. Good stuff man!!!:-)

After viewing the video of all swimbaits & hardbaits in
action on the calfishing.com website, there is no doubt the
Armageddon is superior. My 8" Castaic trout is almost a
waste of time compared to the action I see from the
Armageddon. I live on the East Coast and these baits are not
nearly as popular as on the West Coast. However, I'll let you
know when I finally catch the South Carolina Largemouth record
(currently 16.5 lbs. approx.). Here's where I need everyone's
help....Where and How do I get one of these baits???? Help!
Please!!! :-)

Markmcswain Log on to 316 lures.com check out all the other
baits and go to contact us Let them know your interested in a
Armageddon I'm not sure if they are for sale yet but it is
definetly something you want to buy. The baby bass is also an
awesome swimbait. Good luck with your search for the 17# bass
You should consider throwing the Mission Fish that bait has
caught a 21# and a 19# already just work it like a jig and
they'll eat it. FISH ON and FISH OFTEN
