#2309, "Small ponds or little fished lakes?"

Does anyone know of any farm ponds or small likes (i.e. regional parks) or anything like that in the so cal area that hold bass? I know of a few in the irvine/laguna area but only one has produced a good number of bass (unfortunately it is currently being drained and all the fish are going to be moved into rattlesnake).

I realize that you may not want reveal these lakes to anyone but any info is appreciated.

thanks!

Sup dude. I live borderline LA county and orange county and have access to quite a few small lakes. If you're looking for an underfished lake for bass you could try Prado lake in Chino. It's pretty tough to pull out some lunks from there, but there's a lot of decent size fish that are within the 1-3 lb range. I also sometimes fish Carbon Canyon lake in Chino Hills, I think. The lake is pretty small, but that place holds some toads.
