#2187, "HELP! my Curado's sick"

Friday I took my CU100B Shimano Curado apart and oiled/lubed it. I put it back together and everything was alright (I thought). I used my heavier stuff over the weekend in the salt and today when I went after bass with the Curado, the thumb-bar wouldn't go down and disengage the spool ( read: NO FREESPOOL). ;(
I don't have a parts diagram for the CU100B but I do have one for a CU200.
Tight lines,
Wade

The 100B schematic is here:

You should take it apart again and check the part 2407. Too much to explain in writing, but you just need to make sure the metal part that runs off the thumbar is in there correctly along with whatever it touches.

Is your thumb bar all the way down? If it is, it's an easy fix. Just remove the side plate. Then put the thumb bar in the up position and re-attach the side plate. If that's not your problem... then good luck. Here is the link for the service diagram in PDF format.
