Yonder Mountain String Band is playing SB on the 23rd of this month. Playing at Victoria Hall somewhere's around downtown I guess, show starts at 10pm I think. I'll be driving up for the show and heading back right after. That's how much I love these guys.

They mix traditional bluegrass with a Grateful Dead jamm type of thing. Very normal for them to play for 45min. weaving multiple songs together into some of the most insane music you could ask for. Plus they choose some oddball song to cover, like Ozzy's Crazy Train and Green Day's Love Slave.

While these guys are starting to play more in SoCal, it's still rare. Catch 'em while you can.
