I read MWD's press release dated November 20, 2001 stating that carburated 2 strokes will not be allowed. Has anyone confirmed that this would mean fuel injected motors such as a Mercury EFI would be allowed ?

Don't know if that will be law but Mike Giusti, the DFG biologist that's in charge of the lake's fishery progress said two years ago that certain motors will not be allowed. When it opens it will be a great fishery to us anglers chomping at the bit. Go to Yahoo and search thru the Diamond Valley Reservoir sites for good info and pictures :)

Can Not wait Till Next July when it opens!!!!
Every thing Ive heard up till now is 4 strokes, and maybe Newer EFI 2 Strokes that meet the new pollutions Standards. But definitely Not the older 2 Strokes.

Yes, Kelly. Opti's, HPDI, and 4-strokes for now. This is gonna be an awesome fishery- hopefully the boneheads will run it correctly.
