i got her at about 35 feet deep on a cement cliff at my little lake chabot. it was in the dead of winter(january 25) i feel bad about what happend though. i didnt have a camera or a scale and i knew no one would believe me so i ran him to the marina stopping frequently to let both of us catch our breaths.he swam away but i dont thnik she is going to go back home. she will probobly chill in the no fishing area . i caught her on a 6ft medium heavy pole and cheap ass 12lb shakespear line! i could tell she was a trout eater! or maybe a man eater or a small car eater . lol thanx ryan
Good job releasing that fish! 35 feet is deep for a jig. It looks like a jig with a fiber brush guard too! It can be difficult to set the hook with a jig like that in deep water. Good on you!
