hey guys,

i know they make reel handles for Penn Jigmaster 500/501's, but does anybody recommend any nice ones to fit my Jigmaster 501?
i got bored of mine :7

I put the newer style handle on mine, the one with the rubber grip instead of the molded plastic. I'm 90% sure that a progear handle will fit also.

If anybody has any of the OLD Jigmaster handles, the plastic marblized ones from the 60's, I like to collect them. What ever colors you have, let me know. I'll buy 'em off ya.

I really like the Accurate counterbalanced model for bait. I also have the 3 hole power handle on my 506 jig reel. SWEEET!

At about $20 they're a good deal, too.

edit: The aftermarket handle is mandatory if you're going to be doing any shallow water rockfishing or any other heavy duty cranking.
