#760, "Swimbait Suggestions?"

im looking for something to fish like a crankbait in shallow water. ive been using storm swimbaits but i snag a lot so i want a floating crankbait type of swimbait. I've been using a floating 6" castaic but their quality is just too bad. the tails cast off occassionally, fish will knock it off frequantly and they dont always swim. what other options do i have? i can think of only the megabaits, they dive about the right depth but suspend instead of float.

the bait should float, be 6"-9"s and preferably come in a baby bass color.

maybe the monster jack would work. the spookey jack would most likely get snagged if i try to bump it off of stuff.

I'd recommend the Baby Bass MS Slammer

http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpageSWMSLAMMER-MSSLAM.html?from=calfish

or check out the 3:16 baby bass I have never used one but they look extremely nice. I think it may be more of a wake bait then sub surface though
