pick up an issue of BassWestUsa. In it Jerry mentions about people sending him raptor hardbaits with broken fins and tails. He says it's caused by overhead casting and letting the lure hit the water without slowing down the spool. He suggests throwing side-arm and slowing the bait before it lands. Supposedly he's never had any problems with his personal baits breaking.
hope that helps
I didn't even read the second post lol, my bad.

I am a little confused on this subject when the people that are posting with problems are people that have already contacted me. Since this was found to be a problem I have had one person mail me a bait. I have offered to replace the tail or the bait and only one person has sent me anything. If you have a real problem you can email me and I will take care of it. For you guys that have contacted me and still haven't sent me the baits, well.
