what are your guys thoughts on these 2 rods? the people that have owned one of these rods or even better yet both of them what are the goods and bads about them? and which one do you think is more worth the money? i cant decide which one i want. they are both great rods. can someone help me out. any help is appreciated. thanks.

i havent used the IMX but i can tell you the Legend is a nice rod. i dont own one but i have taken a few casts with it and it casts beautifly and is very sensitive. hope that helps.

I've fished a few of the legends and they are great rods. However I always have gone back to my IMX's as nothing else feels "right" to me. The IMX is a GREAT rod and gets my vote.

Another vote for the IMX, i actually bought one of the St. Croix Legends last year and they are good rods but i still believe the Loomis rod was a tad more sensitive, plus the warranty on Loomis rods can't be beat. Good Luck with your choice.

I have to vote for the St Croix rods. I actually got rid of a couple of Loomis rods and replaced them with the St Croix rods. Like anything else though, it's all about personal preference. You just have to feel them, and perhaps fish them to truly find out whiuch one works for you.
