I LOVE my Shimano reels, and would not trade my 8 Castaics,my 3 Curados ,and my 3 Cardiffs fer nuttin! BUT, Magmaster, I'm with Brian/"805", Ummmm who owns G. Loomis? Ummmmmm, why, it's..... TADAAAAA! SHIMANO!!!! (I've also heard from SEVERAL people that have owned G. Loomis rods for many years, that the quality of workmanship has markedly declined... and at that price they should be Flawless!! Try the B&R Rods, they are REALLY nice! and GREAT PRICES! -Just Google 'em .... Good Luck I much prefer it when a woman leaves me, for then I know the mistake is hers. - Charles Bukowski

John,
Since you have field tested both the Lamiglas & Okuma cranking sticks, how do compare the Okuma EVX-CB-701M with one of the skeet reese cranking rods of the same size/make? Now I know you are sponsored by Okuma, but I just wanted your thought....I am already sold on the Okuma, due to the cost. I am also looking for a deep cranking stick.
Thanks, Bryan To fish is to live!
