Do any of you fish the X-80 trick darters? I bought a couple last week and while fishing with them( the first time) the lip broke off the bait. I was not beating up on the rocks or anything else they would break when the fish would hit them. Does this happen to anyone else? I talked to megabass via e-mail and they basicaly said they have never heard of this happening nor have been contacted by anyone about this.You would think a bait that costs over $20.00 would last a bit longer.I'm just wondering if this has happened to you.

were you slapping the water with your bait in order to get the weeds off? that screws a bait up pretty bad too. other then that, i cant really think of why it would happen but the TD minnows have durability issues as well.

I was fishin in about 15' of open water targeting suspended fish. I don't like throwing them into weeds for fear of losing one.I just put some liquid glass on the lips to see if that will help.
