Just curious what plasitics people are using as trailers on the chatterbait type jigs. Anyone experimented?

sorry but I have to say the scorpion is probably the worst choice in trailer's I have seen yet, I use bass pro shops xps cajun trailers in chart/white or chart sparkle..you want a very streamlined trailer not a creature style to keep the proper action..but this is just my opinion

What about the Flukes/Superflukes, or something like the Flappin' Shad, or Trixie?

I've had success(including a 6.5 lber) with the stock trailer on the White/chartruese CB. Tried a Basstrix Fat Minnow on my shad-colored CB but no bites on it.

I've tried the scorpions, flukes and grubs. They all have their place, it depends on what you are trying to imitate. For a crawdad look i'd go with the Scorpion, for the baitfish look i'd go with either a fluke type bait or a single tail grub. I've caught fish usign all three so it just depends.
