#2050, "regular plastic worm vs.the new stretchy ones"
|
I know they have been around a while but what do you all feel is the plusses or disadvantages of these new snapback style baits? So far in my expierence i havent had much good to say about these style baits.five minutes of these baits sitting with any other worms will make a nice sized ball of sticky rubber, most of the colors i have found in these baits are pretty plain.you cant fly-line these baits (fish them w/no weight) they tend to float.the one plus they have going for them is that the ones i bought float and make good carolina rigs for deep water.I dont hear many people talk about them anymore ,so i thought i'd throw it out there and see what you feel. I got some of the Strike King 3X lizards. I almost always use a Gambler Rattlin' screw-in weight when T-rigging and believe me, you can't screw the weight into the 'nose' of those lizards. I'll just stick with GY's soft-plastics and some Sweet Beavers.
