The GLX flipping stick is the absolute ultimate in light weight and sensitivity. It incorporates the positive features of all our flipping sticks, along with the power to pull big bass out of heavy cover with just a flip of the wrist. In addition, the GLX rod has our special TiCN (Titanium Carbide-Nitride) coated guides which have a new, thinner SIC ring. They're a lot lighter and much stronger. Answering angler's demands for this particular rod, we built it with an "in between" 5-power rating to accommodate multiple uses. It's light enough to fish Carolina rigs and slow roll spinnerbaits, and could very well be the lightest, strongest, most sensitive flipping stick in the universe.
