#9612, "Toulmnee River 7-3"

I wanted to post this earlier but did not have the time so here it goes.

LazyFish and my self floated down the Toulmnee river last Wednesday. We put in at Fox Grove near the town of Hughson and flaoted down to the town of Empire. Both of us caught at least 30 fish a piece, probably more. I burned up over 50 plastic worms. Nothing big most were 10" smallies but Steve did manage a 16"smallie and a 15" Large mouth my biggist was a 15" smallie. The trip took longer then I had remembered, 14 hours as compared to 8, so it turned out to be a very long day. I used to float this river when I was in high school and would catch primarily Largmouth in the 12-15" range. I don't know where all the biger fish went but it still was a fun trip.

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous
