#29035, "Trolling Motor For Delta"

The other day I was on a forum and a Kick Boat fisherman mentioned he had upgraded from a 55lbs thrust motor to a 75lbs motor, because he wanted to fish the Delta. Just how much thrust is needed in a Kick Boat for fishing the Delta as light and easy these boats are to row I would expect that even fully loaded a 75lbs thrust motor might get the boat get up and plaining. Admittedly I'm uninformed however it sounds like over kill to me. I'm asking, because I'm putting together 2 kick boats that I want to be able to use in the Delta and I don't want to spend money on 2 motors that are too small and then have to purchase more or end up not being able to use them on the Delta.
