Steve met Steve at Paradise Point on Tues about 6 am. Steve started throwing topwater right off the point while Steve was flipping a Woodsac Craw. Steve got nothing to go on the top and it was about the same for Steve. Steve decided to try out Fourteen Mile Slough so Steve headed up Disapointment Slough toward FMS. Steve and Steve fished most of the way up and Steve was getting some small ones on plastics while Steve was getting a few more on cranks. When Steve started to head south, the wind was picking up so Steve thought we'd do better going back where we came from and Steve agreed as he pointed out the very dirty water.

So Steve raced back to Bishop Cut and clear water. Steve started throwing more plastics off the west levy and Steve tried some more top water and frogs. Steve got a few boils after his top offerings but that's about all. After catching just a few more 1-2 pounders on plastics, Steve told Steve it was time for the big Senkos. Steve put on a 7" watermelon with black flake and Steve rigged a watermelon with red and gold (?). First cast 'DOUBLES', Steve with a 2 plus and Steve had at least 2 1/2. That was fun. While heading further north, Steve pull out a few more on cranks while Steve managed a nice 3 1/2 on the Senko and a bit later another that went 3 pounds.

When we reached White Slough the wind was whipping up pretty good from the west so Steve asked Steve if we shouldn't just head back the way we came. Steve thought that a great idea because the wind just plain suqs. At this point Steve had caught probably between 14-16 fish while Steve had about 12-13. As he does most days on the Delta, Steve was doing a little 'power napping' due to a little lull in the action. After about 15 minutes, Steve told Steve it was time to fish. Steve then pulled out the Woodsac Delta Money Reaper and proceeded to start picking apart the pockets in the weeds. Within a minute or two Steve told Steve, "I have a decent fish on". Then she jumped a foot out of the water and Steve said "that's a nice fish". She took a few dives into the weeds but Steve managed to keep her clear. Steve helped net her and she weighed out at 6lbs 13oz. Steve and Steve fished back to Paradise Point and called it a day. Steve had caught a lot of fish all day and Steve had just a few less but with a couple 'kickers'.
