This boat is one of the best purchases I have made. The lean bar and standing platform work great. Sometimes I will have the platform out with the lean bar still back out of the way, this gives me more options in my seating comfort. The lean bar comes in real handy, gives you a sense of security that you wont fall in (and you can take a leak easily anywhere on the water). The lean bar is never in the way. It is definitely a large boat, but when fishing next to my buddy in his 7 foot fish cat his boat almost looks funny next to mine because his is so much smaller. He actually wants to upgrade now. It has a life time warrenty, so it should be the last boat of this type I ever have to buy. Good luck with your shopping, you willnot be dissapointed in this boat.
