I have decided that a pontoon boat will better serve my needs than a canoe, so now I have to decide which one to buy. I have seen ebay has a wide varitey of them to choose from at a fraction of retail prices so would like to buy one from ebay, I can wait untill the one I want is listed as I am not in a rush. The thing I noticed when looking at many styles is that they all look teh same and some a triple the prices of other? Oviously I know very little about these crafts but am guessing that teh more expensive ones are construceted w/ stronger materials?

Here is what I am looking for..

1.Very stable
2.can be used in rougher river conditions
3.Has plenty of space
4.Easy to manuver
5.Seat is higher off water
6.Quality construction (wont break in teh river)

Please let me know what you guy's reccomend so I can start looking. Also am I right in thinking I may want a bit longer one for the river?
