Went to Castaic for the afternoon bite but by the time I got there I was told by the lifeguard that I only had 20 minutes to fish! Well...had to make the best of it so I started at the corner where the dam and the ramp meet. There was so much trash there from the rain and the crazy wind that I had to continue out the dam. Well I got to around the 100 yard mark and on the first cast...I huge striper swirled on the 9" MS that I was throwing but missed! It circled back around but realized that it was about to beach itself and turned for deep water. Never did get that fish to bite it but it sure was exciting! After that it was back to casting practice for me! Nothing more and not much time to fish so when the Sheriff came down the ramp, it was time to head for the barn. Pretty exciting stuff considering I drove 1 hour and 15 minutes just to get there for only 20 minutes of hard plug throwin! hahahahaha! Another day... another cast!

Well...I have a bit of time in the morning first thing before I head to work so I'm going to go back for another stab at em! I'm hopin to get a crack at those suckers!
