I was just wondering if anyone here has ever eaten Top Smelt. I was catching them at Beer Can Beach near Santa Cruz. Also was wondering if anyone has eaten the fish caught at Pacific Beach in San Francisco. I caught a bunch of perch but threw them back. I wasn't sure what the water was like as far as pollution.
