From what I gathered a commercial fisherman radioed us in to the harbor patrol. I only saw one guy on one boat (which was a commercial boat) who had a dog that kept barking at us. So, I avoided that area as much as possible. Later in the evening, we went back there and the dog wasn't barking so I dropped a piling right in front of the boat and pulled a sandbass. When I tossed it back, it did make a pretty loud splash, so I'm wondering if the guy thought we were funking around with his boat or throwing stuff in the water or something.
