With my two new plastics along, I fished the harbor from 7 to 9:15 and met up with Frank. Frank reported a short halibut and a lizardfish. I threw one of my plastics and got ronkie bit but that was it till seabass time. The seabass never turned on. There was A LOT of phospho in the water. More than I've ever seen in there. Even the little baby sardines were kicking up blue flashes. The seabass were in the area, we could see em bust bait now and then, but they wouldn't bite. Possibly because of all the phospho being lit up by the line. I was very pleased with my swimbaits. They're a little soft but the action is incredible. They'd be sweet for sandbass on the pilings. Here's a pic of my two swimbaits-http://www.calfishing.com/dcforum/User_files/39923c5848fa8551.jpg
