I decided to take a few vacation days from work to do a little spring cleaning around the house.
In between time, I managed to escape to dip a line or two this morning. I wasn't exspecting to run into anything that noteworthy.
I was at the launching ramp at Oceanside Harbor heaving 4" swimbaits for hopefully Calicos, Spotted Bays, or what I wanted most of all... a big Halley baster or two when guess what!
The water was clear down to about 6 t0 7 feet or so when I happened to glance over to the left side of the launching dock and to my horror was the most beautiful 22-24" Corbina lazyly cruizing the bottom with no apparent motive in mind but to enjoy life!
Under normal situations, I always have mussel, ghost shrimp ect.
Out of desperation ,I casted a swimbait at him knowing all the time it would most likely be an exersise in futility and it was.
Aint fishin grand!!
Aztecwin out.
have mussel, ghost shrimp, ect. Today...nada! aaaarrrggg!!!
