I broke my one year hiatus from tournament fish this morning. Together with my saltwater bass partner Drew Clark(that kayak guy). We entered the SD Saltwater Bass Showdown, Calico/Sandbass event. Together we roll as ZIGGY FISHDUST. We fished the PL kelp forest right in the middle of the red tide.

I threw this

on 20lb floro with Unibutter, into the kelp leaves and pulled out this.

My new PB calico! 8.43lb on the official tourney scale. I took big bass honors and we won the tournament. WOOT WOOT!!! Here’s the weigh in shot.
