#12363, "Ligasaurus report with pic's"

Myself and two buddies(Jeff and Mike) headed out early this morning in search of some tails and tuna. we must have rolled up on a dozen paddies with 0 bites. We did see a few mola and I wanted to try and snag one and reel it in but mike said they stink real bad so I never snagged one. I just got a new reel and I was excited to try it out and I was getting boared. I dont know where we were exactly but I know we were northwest of the islands. We trolled and paddie hopped for what seemed like days untill we ended up somewhare in I.B. We started catching calicos and rockfish off of plastics and dines then I hooked something big and it got off. After that it was on. we caught about 8 lings with 3 being very legal. we also lost another 5 or 6 that would have been legal also. My Okuma induron got tested! those lings pulled drag and fought hard and I am pleased with my new reel! I also caught a midshipsman and Mike said he took the pictures so I threw it back only to find no pictures on my camera We ended up with lots of big calicos, rockfish, and 3 lingasaurusas, 1 for each of us.
