I'd say it's fine for all Stripers in open water and any striper under 30# in most any situation your likely to run into with Stripers. As for the tunas it'd be fine for the under 50# category and would probably by great for freelining anchovies to this size class, but anything over 60# and you'd better be praying and keep some freshwater on hand to cool the side plates/drag washers.
