Went for a morning session today to check on the status of the bed fish. Basically went all over, throwing slammer/generic trout while looking for bedfish. I did find a few bed fish but none of them were even close to catchable. They were no doubt sitting on beds and most of em looked pretty locked on, but you couldn't get a bait on em without them spooking off. Biggest bed fish I saw was maybe 4lbs, mostly just small males. The majority were actually quite shallow, right up in the tullies. Once the wind came up it was pretty hopeless for anything besides sight fishing with the bright, clear, post front skies, so I took off. Man, weekend fishing sucks, there's like people at the lake and stuff :)
