#7784, "1/19/03: Santa Margarita"

Hit Margarita Sunday morning from my kickboat. Water level is still down about 17-18 feet, water was 50 degrees and stained, maybe 2 foot visability. Lots of dead weeds floating along the shoreline.

I got skunked! Not one bite. i fished from sunrise to about noon. I was using the dropshot, Senko and a Texas rigged zipper. Even threw the MS Slammer for a while. Launched at White Oak and fished the bays across the lake, down to the Jackass Bays and then back along the near shoreline.

Lots of boats on the water. I'm not sure if they had a tourney or if it's just prefishing for the WON on the 1st.
