#7477, "Santa Margarita; 12/27/02"

Made it out to Margarita on Friday at sunrise and fished until about 1PM. The water level is up several feet and stained, temp 48.

Only managed to catch one largemouth but it was a quality one, weighing in at 4.7 lbs. Caught on a Zipper worm.

Also somehow snagged a 5 lb catfish on a dropshot rig, he hooked himself on the underside of his belly. Don't know how it happened but he put up a pretty good fight!

Overall a pretty slow day. Nice to see the water levels coming up!
